Position:  Medical Imaging Assistant (Full-time)  *This position is only open to internal applicants at this time

Description/Qualifications:  Assists with the delivery of patient care primarily by managing patients within the department, facilitating and expediting their preparation for their procedures; and assists with clerical duties in the Medical Imaging Department.   High school graduate or equivalent.  Knowledge of alphabetical and numerical filing.  Computer and filing experience helpful.  Excellent communication skills.  Must have current skills with the Information System and Medical Terminology, or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.

Position:  Registered Nurse 2NW (64-flex) *This position is only open to internal applicants at this time

Description/Qualifications:  Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the delivery of nursing care.  Responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse.  PA RN License, CPR Certification. Prefer one year of Orthopedic experience and medical/surgical background.

Position:  Registered Nurse CCU (64-flex) *This position is only open to internal applicants at this time

Description/Qualifications:  Recognizes the special needs of Patient/Significant Others in CCU.  Is knowledgeable about the emotional and rehabilitative aspects of the CCU patient and is capable of applying appropriate therapeutic interventions. Performs extensive physical assessments and competently administers routinely used and emergency drugs.  Answers CPR and Medical Response pages throughout the North Campus of the Hospital. PA RN License.  Must have at least one year of medical-surgical experience.  Must be ACLS certified within one year of being assigned to this area and maintain certification. Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. CPR Certification.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience

Position:  CT Radiographer (Full-time) 

Description/Qualifications:  Perform all types of radiological examinations of the human body in order to assist physicians and dentists in the detection of pathology, abnormal anatomy, fractures and/or disease.  To assist with the educational responsibilities and duties for the radiology students. Must be ARRT registry eligible; must obtain ARRT certification within 6 months of hire date.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.  Must be willing to pursue CT registry within one (1) year of orientation.

Position:  Scheduler (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Scheduling, clerical and typing duties with regard to the preparation and processing of patient information and orders.  HS diploma or equivalent.  Previous medical office and medical schooling helpful.  Knowledge of medical terminology, office practice and filing.   Computer experience preferred.  High-level quality personal interactive skills essential.  Communication skills and ability to multi-task.

Position:  Laboratory Secretary (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  To do all the clerical and secretarial functions associated with the operation of a clinical laboratory and Blood Bank.   Graduate of an approved college for Medical Secretaries (minimum of two years), or possesses a high school degree or equivalent and one year of college with a minimum of three years experience as a medical secretary in a hospital of clinical laboratory.  Hours of work and days of vary.

Position:  Sonographer (Full-time) Medical Imaging

Description/Qualifications:  Maintains active registry with the ARRT and/or ARDMS.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.  To perform all types of ultrasound examinations of the human body in order to assist physicians in the detection of pathology, abnormal anatomy and/or disease. 

Position:  Certified Nursing Assistant (Part-time) Jameson Care Center

Description/Qualifications:  Assist in delivery of direct resident care activities and services under the direct supervision of professional staff and in accordance with facility, local, state and Federal guidelines, standards and regulations.High school degree or equivalent required.  Takes and successfully completes the C.N.A. certification class.  Passes the C.N.A. certification test.Has a current valid certification to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.Certification in Basic Life Support. 

Position:  Certified Nursing Assistant (Full-time) TCU 

Description/Qualifications:  Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services. Provides necessary care for the personal needs and comfort of patients, in line with hospital and department and department policies/procedures and standards, under the supervision of a staff nurse and/or a nursing management person.  High school degree or equivalent required.  Require past experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care or nursing home setting and/or completion of a Vocational-Technical Nursing Assistant Program.  Nursing Assistant Certification required. Possesses a current CPR card.

Position:  Patient Care Manager (Full-time) Emergency Department.  

Description/Qualifications:  The Patient Care Manager, Emergency Department, is responsible for the department operation including staffing, staff development, scheduling, budgeting, and all patient care activities. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  Licensure PA RN License.  BSN required, MSN preferred.  Five years experience in Nursing and at least one year in management.  Demonstrated leadership ability; able to work in stressful situations and possess good oral and written communication skill.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. CPR Certification.  Provides evidence of NIMS 100, 700, and 200 training or obtain within 3 months of hire. 

Position:  Utilization Review Coordinator (Full-time)

Qualification/Description:  Manages a caseload of patients, performs preadmission, admission, and concurrent stay reviews according to developed criteria for medical necessity. Manages software staff utilize to conduct stay reviews.  Responsible for Utilization Review policies and procedures as well as development, supervision and scheduling of staff.  Review, analyze and promote change in patient care processes that affect costs, unnecessary admissions, excessive lengths of stay, unnecessary use of ancillary testing and continuity of care services.  Active participation in insurance company appeals process along with communication of findings to involved care providers.  PA RN License and 5 years nursing experience required.  Minimum of four (4) years Utilization Review experience andSupervisory experience preferred. Ability to demonstrate clinical knowledge in a variety of disease and treatment processes.  Has expert knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processing.  Must possess excellent time management, organizational, analytical, negotiation, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.  Must have experience in needs assessment, planning, organizing, implementing and evaluation procedures.  Must have working knowledge in the use of computers

Position:  Senior Case Manager (Full-time)

Qualifications/Description:  Review, analyze and promote change in patient care processes that affect costs, unnecessary admissions, excessive lengths of stay, unnecessary use of ancillary testing and continuity of care services.  Promotes quality case effective outcomes.  Responsible for Case Management policies and procedures as well as development, supervision and scheduling of staff.   PA RN License, BSN, and 5 years staff nursing experience required.  Minimum of four (4) years managing a Case Management Department or equivalent management experience in multiple patient care settings with concentration in acute care.  Ability to demonstrate clinical knowledge in a variety of disease and treatment processes.  Has expert knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processing.  Must possess excellent time management, organizational, analytical, negotiation, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.  Must have experience in needs assessment, planning, organizing, implementing and evaluation procedures.  Must have working knowledge in the use of computers.

Position:  Registered Nurse Behavioral Health  (Part-time) 

Qualifications/Description:  The RN assumes responsibility for daily unit operations and delegation of responsibilities to appropriate staff.  The RN is responsible for participation on the emergency “on-call” team and must schedule a minimum of one four hour “on-call” shift weekly. PA RN license required.  3 years experience in Psychiatric Nursing preferred. CPR Certification.

Position:  RN Maternity Care Center  (Part-time)

Qualifications/Department:  PA RN License. Require one year of medical-surgical experience.  Previous experience in Maternal-Child required.  Current neonatal resuscitation certification or ability to obtain certification required. Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. CPR Certification.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience.

Position:  Mental Health Tech II  (Part-time)

Qualifications/DescriptionProvides support for the patient’s therapeutic treatment plan.  Observes and records patient information pertinent to the treatment plan in the medical record and assisting in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services.  The MHT II is responsible to schedule a minimum of 4 hours weekly and participate on the emergency assessment “on-call” team.  Additionally, the MHT II participates in Utilization Review and the referral development process and adheres to the implementation of the weekend program schedule under the direction of the Activity Therapist. Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Health Sciences or related health care degree required.  Requires a minimum of 3 years psychiatric experience. CPR certification.

Position:  ER Case Manager  (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Responsible for reviewing clinical criteria for patients, coordinating discharge plans, consulting with ER Physician, and ensuring Case Management follow through.  PA RN license with three (3) years Case Management/Utilization Review experience, preferably within Emergency Department setting.  Has expert knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processing. Possesses excellent organizational, time management, and people skills.  Hours of work 12:00-8:30 or 1:00-9:30.

Position:  Registration Bookkeeper (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications:  Registers patients into the computer system efficiently and accurately in a friendly, timely manner.HS grad. with additional bus courses.  Prior healthcare exp. in a medical office or hospital setting, knowledge of medical insurance, and medical terminology preferred, typing and customer service skills.  Shifts and days vary.

Position:  Unit Secretary  (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Performs secretarial, receptionist duties, coordinating all activities and serves as the focal communication source for the nursing unit.  High school degree or equivalent required.  Approved Medical secretary course preferred.  At least one year if experience in a hospital setting preferred.  Medical Terminology proficiency

Position:  Nursing Assistant (Full-time/ Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services. Provides necessary in care for the personal needs and comfort of patients, in line with hospital and department and department policies/procedures and standards, under the supervision of a staff nursing and/or a nursing management person.  High school degree or equivalent required. Require past experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care or nursing home setting and/or completion of a Vocational-Technical Nursing Assistant Program. Must successfully pass basic math computation test with 90% accuracy. Prefer Nursing Assistant Certification.  Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.
