Position:  Unit Secretary Emergency Department (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Performs secretarial, receptionist duties, coordinating all activities and serves as the focal communication source for the nursing unit.   HS Diploma or equivalent required.  Approved Medical secretary course preferred.  At least one year if experience in a hospital setting preferred.  Medical Terminology proficiency required.  Computer/typing skills preferred.  Possess good verbal/phone communication skills.  Demonstrates ability to organize work in previous job situations.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months.  CPR Certification. 

Position:  Nurse Home Visitor Children's Advocacy Center (Full-time)

Description/Qualfications:  Experience working with low-income and at-risk families.  Parent Education, case management, home visitation, and risk management.  In addition, experience networking and coordinating with other professionals and agencies.  Ability to community with people at all levels.  Cultural awareness.  Must have own vehicle and driver’s license.  PA RN License.  BSN preferred.

Position:  Security Guard (Part-time temp) 

Description/Qualifications:  Physical fitness necessary to discharge assigned duties and responsibilities.  Ability to deal with persons of varying educational levels and Security guard continued backgrounds.  Ability to work with difficult situations.  Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and lift and push.  Communication skills to confer with Hospital staff and the public.  High school degree or equivalent preferred with good reading and writing skills. Prior security, police or military training preferred and/or Act 235 or 501 Certification preferred.  Provides evidence of NIMS 100 and 700 training or obtain within 3 months of hire.  Primarily evening shifts. 

Position:  Critical Care Technician  (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients in line with Hospital and department policies/procedures and standards, under the supervision of a staff nurse and/or a nursing management person.  Performs secretarial and receptionist duties in the Critical Care area coordinating all activities and serves as the focal communication source for the Critical Care Unit.  High school degree or equivalent required.  Successfully pass basic math computation test, 80% accuracy.  Demonstrates ability to organize work in previous job situations. Hospital conducted on-the-job training. Medical Terminology proficiency required. Must possess excellent verbal/telephone communication skills. Ward secretary experience preferred. Computer/typing skills preferred. Must have current skills with the order entry system. Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.

Position:  Human Resources Assistant (Full-time temporary)

Description/Qualifications:  To assist the Human Resources Department and staff with communications, clerical and miscellaneous responsibilities.Experience in at least two HR function areas preferred. Associates degree orBusiness school degree required. 1-3 years experience in office department preferred.  Excellent interpersonal and organization skills.  Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Prior experience in Lawson preferred.

Position:  Inventory Clerk (Part-time)

Description/Qualfications:  Collects, cleans, decontaminates, inspects, adjusts, packages, documents, sterilizes, inventories, dispenses, distributes sterile and clean materials to all departments in the Health Care System, operates departmental equipment. Maintains records of materials dispensed, distributed and charged. Maintains specific quantities of supplies and materials in assigned areas at all times. Requisitions, accumulates, charges, distributes, retrieves, credits supplies and materials.   High school degree or equivalent preferred. Principles of asepsis training preferred. Health care experience preferred.

Position:  Registered Nurse Cardiology (Per Diem) 

Description/Qualifications:  The Cardiology registered nurses have expertise in cardiovascular specialty areas.  Their role focuses on nursing care, supervising cardiac diagnostic testing.  PA RN License.   Minimum of two(2) years experience for basic evaluation of EKG patterns and rhythms in Critical Care Unit or Cardiac Stepdown Unit.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.  Must be ACLS Certified within one(1) year of being assigned to this area and maintain certification.  American Heart Association CPR Certification.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience

Position:  Patient Escort (Part-time temporary)

Description/Qualifications:  Assists in the delivery of patient care primarily by transporting patients during admission, discharge, and transfer to and from other departments as necessary.  Assists with other patient activities by delivery specimens and running errands.  HS Diploma or equiv. preferred.  Prefer previous experience in patient care areas; must be able to read and write. CPR Certification.

Position:  Registered Nurse Critical Care Unit (64-flex/Part-time)

Description/Qualfications:  Recognizes the special needs of Patient/Significant Others in CCU.  Is knowledgeable about the emotional and rehabilitative aspects of the CCU patient and is capable of applying appropriate therapeutic interventions. Performs extensive physical assessments and competently administers routinely used and emergency drugs.  Answers CPR and Medical Response pages throughout the North Campus of the Hospital. PA RN License.  Must have at least one year of medical-surgical experience.  Must be ACLS certified within one year of being assigned to this area and maintain certification. Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. CPR Certification.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience.   Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days.

Position:  Environmental Services Aide  (Part-time)

Description/Qualfications:  To clean and service an assigned area according to procedure or special direction for all areas of the Health System as assigned.  High school degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to speak English and to follow oral and written direction.  Knowledge of Environmental Services equipment is helpful.  Experience in cleaning in a health care setting is helpful.  On-the-job training is provided.

PositionLPN Jameson Care Center (Part-time temp)

Description/Qualifications:  Coordinate total nursing function for a designated unit including assessing, planning, prescribing nursing care, implementing and evaluation patient/resident care for a specified shift.  Coordinates related services and assists other health care staff in the delivery of treatment and services.  Directs, delegates, guides and supervises all staff on the unit to ensure quality care.  Performs job in accordance with facility, local, state and Federal guidelines, standards and regulations.   Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.  PA LPN License.

Position:  Aide Nutritional (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  As scheduled, performs routine kitchen and dishroom assignments related to preparation, portioning and serving of food and nourishment to patients, staff and quests. Passes and collects trays, sets up and delivers late trays. Stocks units according to par levels.   HS Diploma or equivalent and food experience preferred.  Vocational Technical School training desirable. 

Position:  Certified Nurse Practitioner (Full-time) JMC

Description/Qualifications:  The CRNP will work in collaboration with OB/GYN physicians in both our clinic and office settings.  Qualifications for the position are as follows:  PA CRNP License, BSN required, MSN preferred.  Five years experience in nursing, with at least three years in an OB/GYN setting and at least one year in management.  Ideal applicant will also have a demonstrated leadership ability; ability to work in stressful situations and possess good oral and written communication skills. 

Position:  Registered Nurse Med/Surg (Per-Diem)

Description/ Qualifications:  The R.N. is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse. PA RN License.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience. CPR Certification.  Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days.

Position:  Home Health Aide (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Responsible for carrying out assigned tasks in the patient's place of residence, reporting changes in the patient's condition to the R.N. or Hospice Coordinator. Maintains responsibility.  HS diploma or equivalent required. Prefer past experience as a nursing assistant and experience in the home setting; Must have sincere interest in the ill and elderly, cheerful personality and interest in patient's achieving self-reliance; Must satisfactorily complete Hospice Aide training course as part of job orientation; Is required to have valid driver's license; own car; automobile insurance.  CPR Certification

Position:  Certified Nursing Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) Jameson Care Center

Description/Qualifications:  Assist in delivery of direct resident care activities and services under the direct supervision of professional staff and in accordance with facility, local, state and Federal guidelines, standards and regulations.High school degree or equivalent required.  Takes and successfully completes the C.N.A. certification class.  Passes the C.N.A. certification test.Has a current valid certification to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.Certification in Basic Life Support. 

Position:  Nursing Assistant (Full-time/ Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services. Provides necessary in care for the personal needs and comfort of patients, in line with hospital and department and department policies/procedures and standards, under the supervision of a staff nursing and/or a nursing management person.  High school degree or equivalent required. Require past experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care or nursing home setting and/or completion of a Vocational-Technical Nursing Assistant Program. Must successfully pass basic math computation test with 90% accuracy. Prefer Nursing Assistant Certification.  Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire. Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days.
