Position:  Emergency Department Registered Nurse (64-flex)

Description/Qualifications:  Prescribes, delegates and coordinates the delivery of nursing care,is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital, Cardiac-Ambulatory Care Services, and as outlined in the Hospital Plan for Nursing.  Supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse.PA RN license.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience, a minimum of one (1) year experience in Medical/Surgical, ER nursing or equivalent with special skill in starting IVs.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six (6) months.  Possesses CPR and ACLS certifications and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.

Position:  LPN  (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Responsible for administrating individualized nursing care in a client's environment as directed.  Performs in line with the philosophy, objectives, and directives of the Jameson Hospital and Hospice. PA LPN license,successful completion of the Napnes Pharmacology exam for Practical Nurses of employment of graduation from an NLN accredited program, which included pharmacology content; Prefer one (1) year experience as an LPN in a health care setting; Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience; Valid driver's license; and auto liability insurance.  Previous venotech experience and Invision computer experience.  Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.

Position:  Home Health Aide (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications:  The Hospice aide is responsible for carrying out assigned tasks in the patient's place of residence for which he/she has been trained.  The hospice aide is responsible for reporting changes in the patient's condition to the R.N. or Hospice Coordinator. Maintains responsibility, at all times, for complying with established directives and procedures and promoting Hospice through a positive, caring manner in performing the job duties.  High school degree or equivalent preferred; Must have ability to read, write, and carry out direction; Prefer past experience as a nursing assistant and experience in the home setting; Must have sincere interest in the ill and elderly; Must have cheerful personality and interest in patient's achieving self-reliance; Must satisfactorily complete Hospice Aide training course as part of job orientation; Is required to have valid driver's license; own car; automobile insurance.  Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.

Position:  Surgical Tech ( 64-flex and Part-time )  

Description/Qualifications:  Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program preferred.  High school degree or equivalent required.  Clinical experience of at least one year required with O.R. experience preferred.  Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.  Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American

Position:  Medical Imaging Assistant (Part-time Temp) 

Description/Qualifications:  Assists with the delivery of patient care primarily by managing patients within the department, facilitating and expediting their preparation for their procedures; and assists with clerical duties in the Medical Imaging Department.   HS Diploma or equivalent.  Knowledge of alphabetical and numerical filing.  Computer and filing experience helpful.  Excellent communication skills.  Must have current skills with the Information System and Medical Terminology, or be willing to obtain within six(6) months. 

Position:  Medical Secretary (64-flex)

Description/Qualifications:  Responsible for coordinating clerical duties within Ambulatory Care Services.  Performs general office duties to include secretarial support, transcription, scheduling and billing.  High school degree or equivalent required.  Business degree and transcription experience preferred.  Must be task oriented, have good organizational skills and ability to work closely with physicians, staff, and patients. 

Position: Phlebotomist (Full-time) 

Description/Qualifications:  Applicant shall possess a high school degree or equivalent.  Phlebotomy course/certificate and experience in a hospital clinical laboratory is most desirable. Additional college level education in the Laboratory Science field is also desirable.Possess a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.

Position:  Personal Care Assistant (Part-time temporary)  

Description/Qualifications:  Provides services to help maintain resident’s independence in a family-like atmosphere.  Assists with activities of daily providing care, housekeeping services, and other related services as necessary to meet the personal and comfort needs of the residents. Helps the resident to adjust to their new surroundings and limitations if any.  HS Diploma or equiv required. Previous experience preferred.  Must possess current First Aide Certification and PA Driver’s License.  CPR Certification

Position:  Registered Nurse- Behavioral Health (64-flex and Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  The RN assumes responsibility for daily unit operations and delegation of responsibilities to appropriate staff.  The RN is responsible for participation on the emergency “on-call” team and must schedule a minimum of one four hour “on-call” shift weekly. PA RN license required.  3 years experience in Psychiatric Nursing preferred. CPR Certification.

Position:  Operator  (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Routing calls quickly, efficiently and in a friendly manner. HS Diploma or equivalent.  Customer service skills, computer experience, and typing skills required.  Must be able to sit for long periods of time.  Hearing and vision within normal limits.  Flexibility with schedule.

Position:  Mental Health Tech II (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Provides support for the patient’s therapeutic treatment plan.  Observes and records patient information pertinent to the treatment plan in the medical record and assisting in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services.  The MHT II is responsible to schedule a minimum of 4 hours weekly and participate on the emergency assessment “on-call” team.  Additionally, the MHT II participates in Utilization Review and the referral development process and adheres to the implementation of the weekend program schedule under the direction of the Activity Therapist. Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Health Sciences or related health care degree required.  Requires a minimum of 3 years psychiatric experience. CPR certification.

Position:  Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Units (64-flex and Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  The R.N. is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse. PA RN License.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience. CPR Certification 

Position:  Environmental Services Aide (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  To clean and service an assigned area according to procedure or special direction for all areas of the Health System as assigned.  High school degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to speak English and to follow oral and written direction.  Knowledge of Environmental Services equipment is helpful.  Experience in cleaning in a health care setting is helpful.  On-the-job training is provided.

Position:  Professional Nurse Educator (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Participates in the total faculty effort to provide an educational program in nursing in line with the Philosophy, Goals, Directives, and Policies of the School of Nursing and the Hospital.   Strong commitment to Diploma education.  Current licensure as a professional registered nurse in the Commonwealth of PA.  Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.  Masters Degree in Nursing.  Minimum of two years as a staff nurse.  Competence in major field of interest.  Teaching experience.

Position:  RN CCU and CCU Float (64-flex positions)

Description/Qualifications:  Recognizes the special needs of Patient/Significant Others in CCU.  Is knowledgeable about the emotional and rehabilitative aspects of the CCU patient and is capable of applying appropriate therapeutic interventions. Performs extensive physical assessments and competently administers routinely used and emergency drugs.  Answers CPR and Medical Response pages throughout the North Campus of the Hospital. PA RN License.  Must have at least one year of medical-surgical experience.  Must be ACLS certified within one year of being assigned to this area and maintain certification. Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire. Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience.

Position:  ER Case Manager (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications: Responsible for reviewing clinical criteria for patients, coordinating discharge plans, consulting with ER Physician, and ensuring Case Management follow through.  PA RN license with three (3) years Case Management/Utilization Review experience, preferably within Emergency Department setting.  Has expert knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processing. Possesses excellent organizational, time management, and people skills.

Position:  Case Manager (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Responsible for reviewing clinical criteria for patients, coordinating discharge plans, and ensuring Case Management follow through.  PA RN license with three (3) years of acute care nursing experience.  Case Management/ Utilization Review experience preferred.   Must possess  excellent time management, organizational, analytical, negotiation, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.  Ability to demonstrate clinical knowledge in a variety of disease and treatment processes.  Has expert knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processing. 

Position:  Coder II (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications:  High school degree or equivalent, R.H.I.T. or C.C.S. preferred.  Inpatient and outpatient hospital medical coding required.  Computer experience, knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.  Typing and/or key entry proficiency.  Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT-4 classification systems and clinical content of medical record.  Only experienced applicants will be considered.

PositionRN Inpatient Rehab. (64-flex)

Description/Qualifications:  PA RN License.  Prefer Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire. Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience.

 Position:  Unit Secretary  (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Performs secretarial, receptionist duties, coordinating all activities and serves as the focal communication source for the nursing unit.  High school degree or equivalent required.  Approved Medical secretary course preferred.  At least one year if experience in a hospital setting preferred.  Medical Terminology proficiency

Position:  Nursing Assistant (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services. Provides necessary in care for the personal needs and comfort of patients, in line with hospital and department and department policies/procedures and standards, under the supervision of a staff nursing and/or a nursing management person.  High school degree or equivalent required. Require past experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care or nursing home setting and/or completion of a Vocational-Technical Nursing Assistant Program. Must successfully pass basic math computation test with 90% accuracy. Prefer Nursing Assistant Certification.  Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.

Description/Qualifications:  As scheduled, performs routine kitchen and dish room assignments related to preparation, portioning and serving of food and nourishment to patients, staff and quests. Passes and collects trays, sets up and delivers late trays. Stocks units according to par levels.   High School graduate or equivalent preferred.  Vocational Technical School training desirable.   

Position:  Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon– Jameson Health System, Inc. seeks a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Lawrence County, PA –  Evaluate and provide general surgery, breast surgery, breast reconstructive surgery and plastic reconstructive, cosmetic surgery to patients.  Provide wound care to patients at wound clinic.  Must have Medical degree; completion of General Surgery Residency; completion of Plastic Surgery Residency, Board certified in Surgery; Board certified in Plastic Surgery; PA medical license.
