Position:  Medical Imaging Assistant (Part-time Temp)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: Assists with the delivery of patient care primarily by managing patients within the department, facilitating and expediting their preparation for their procedures; and assists with clerical duties in the Medical Imaging Department.High school graduate or equivalent.  Knowledge of alphabetical and numerical filing.  Computer and filing experience helpful.  Excellent communication skills.  Must have current skills with the Information System and Medical Terminology, or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.


 

Position:  Registered Nurse-SDS (Part-time)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: Prescribes, delegates and coordinates the delivery of nursing care.  Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating patient care in Same Day Surgery and providing quality service to physicians.  Participates in marketing SDS services to the medical staff and community.  Maintains competent skill level to ensure provision of safe, quality, cost effective and age appropriate care of patients in SDS.Current licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Position:  Registered Nurse-PACU (Part-time)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: Prescribes, delegates and coordinates the delivery of nursing care.  Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating patient care in Same Day Surgery and providing quality service to physicians.  Participates in marketing SDS services to the medical staff and community.  Maintains competent skill level to ensure provision of safe, quality, cost effective and age appropriate care of patients in SDS.Current licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Position:  Registered Nurse-ED (64-Flex)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: Prescribes, delegates and coordinates the delivery of nursing care. He/She is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital, Cardiac-Ambulatory Care Services, and as outlined in the Hospital Plan for Nursing.  He/She supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Pennsylvania licensure.A minimum of one (1) year experience in Medical/Surgical nursing or equivalent with special skill in starting IVs. Must be versatile, self-assured and technically competent. Demonstrates knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience. Must possess the ability to communicate with patients and other members of the health care team. Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six (6) months. Must be ACLS certified within one (1) year of being assigned to this area and maintain certification. CPR Certification. Position:  Registered Nurse-2NW (64-Flex)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: The Registered Nurse prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the delivery of nursing care.  The R.N. is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse.  PA RN License, CPR Certification. Prefer one year of Orthopedic experience and medical/surgical background.


Position:  Certified Nursing Assistant-TCU (Full-time)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services. Provides necessary care for the personal needs and comfort of patients, in line with hospital and department and department policies/procedures and standards, under the supervision of a staff nurse and/or a nursing management person.  High school degree or equivalent required.  Require past experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care or nursing home setting and/or Nursing Assistant Certification. Possesses a current CPR card.


Position:  Laboratory Secretary (Full-time)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: To do all the clerical and secretarial functions associated with the operation of a clinical laboratory and Blood Bank.Graduate of an approved college for Medical Secretaries (minimum of two years), or possesses a high school degree or equivalent and one year of college with a minimum of three years experience as a medical secretary in a hospital of clinical laboratory. AHACPR certification.


Position:  Critical Care Tech (Full-time)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients in line with Hospital and department policies/procedures and standards, under the supervision of a staff nurse and/or a nursing management person.  Performs secretarial and receptionist duties in the Critical Care area coordinating all activities and serves as the focal communication source for the Critical Care Unit.High school degree or equivalent required.  Successfully pass basic math computation test, 80% accuracy.  Demonstrates ability to organize work in previous job situations. Hospital conducted on-the-job training. Medical Terminology proficiency required. Must possess excellent verbal/telephone communication skills. Ward secretary experience preferred. Computer/typing skills preferred. Must have current skills with the order entry system. AHA CPR certification.


Position:  Registered Nurse-2W (64 Flex) 

Description/Qualifications: Responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse.   PA RN License.  Demonstratedknowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. Position:  Mammographer/Radiographer (Full-time) 

Description/Qualifications: To perform all types of radiological examinations of the human body in order to assist physicians and dentists in the detection of fractures and/or disease.  To assist with the educational responsibilities and duties for the radiology students.  Must be ARRT registry eligible; must obtain ARRT registration within 6 months of hire date and maintain active registration.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six (6) months.  AHACPR certification.



Position:  Patient Escort (Part-time Temp) 

Description/Qualifications: Assists in the delivery of patient care primarily by transporting patients during admission, discharge, and transfer to and from other departments as necessary.  Assists with other patient activities by delivery specimens and running errands.  Functions in line with hospital and department policies/procedures/standards under the direct supervision of a nursing management person.  High school degree or equivalent preferred; prefer previous experience in patient care areas; must be able to read and write. AHACPR certification and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.

Position:  Registered Nurse-JCC (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications: The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate total nursing function for a designated unit including assessing, planning, prescribing nursing care, implementing and evaluation patient/resident care for a specified shift.  Coordinates related services and assists other health care staff in the delivery of treatment and services.  Directs, delegates, guides and supervises all staff on the unit to ensure quality care.  Performs job in accordance with facility, local, state and Federal guidelines, standards and regulations.  Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.  Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.  Long term care preferred.  Night shift.


Position:  Registered Nurse-Rehab (64-Flex) 

Description/Qualifications: Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the delivery of nursing care.  The R.N. is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital, Hospitalwide Nursing and the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse.Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Prefer Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. Position:  Radiographer (Full-time, Part-time, Part-time temp) 

Description/Qualifications: To perform all types of radiological examinations of the human body in order to assist physicians and dentists in the detection of pathology, abnormal anatomy, fractures and/or disease.  To assist with the educational responsibilities and duties for the radiology students.  Must be ARRT registry eligible; must obtain ARRT registration within 6 months of hire date and maintain active registration.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.  Must be willing to pursue CT registry within one (1) year of orientation.  CPR Certification.


Position:  Nutritional Servies Aide (Full-time,  Part-time)

Description/Qualifications: As scheduled, performs routine kitchen and dishroom assignments related to preparation, portioning and serving of food and nourishments to patients, staff and quests. Passes and collects trays, sets up and delivers late trays.  Stocks units according to par levels. High School graduate or equivalent preferred.  Vocational Technical School training desirable.  Ability to work within a time schedule.  Ability to read, write and speak English and follow oral and written instructions.  Ability to add, subtract, multiple, divide.


Position:  Laundry Helper (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications: To assist in the laundry on assignments such as shaking out, folding and making deliveries to our customers. High school degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English and to follow oral and written directions.  Experience in laundry in the health care setting is helpful.  On the job training is provided. Must be able to perform basic math skills.


Position:  Licensed Practical Nurse -Transisitional Care (64-Flex) 

Description/Qualifications: The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the supervision of a professional nurse, is responsible for administering individualized nursing care to a group of patients.   Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nurses.  Has current Pennsylvania state licensure.  Demonstrates knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Prefer NAPNES Certification.   Must have current skills with information systems or be willing to obtain within six months. AHACPR Certification.


Position:  Director of Human Resources (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications: Plans, organizes, directs and supervises the operations of the Human Resources (HR) Department.  Develops and enforces HR policies and procedures in accordance with Hospital and Health System objectives. Promotes good employee morale through fair and equitable administration of policies and makes conscientious efforts to better employee relations.  Bachelor of HR or Business Administration, 5-8 years HR experience, with 3-5 years of health care management experience required. Knowledge of benefits, compensation, workers compensation, PA labor laws, legal requirements of healthcare workers, The Joint Commission and PA Department of Health standards, previous management experience, labor relations, and pension experience.  Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to communicate with all levels of staff, management, physicians, and board members. Masters of HR preferred.


Position:  Pulmonary Tech (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications: The Pulmonary Technician supports the Respiratory Therapists and department through performance of tasks relating to oxygen rounds, delivery, billing, limited documentation and quality control.  Performs quality controls, cleaning, stocking and record keeping procedures.  High School degree or equivalent required.  Demonstrates knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Minimum 1 year experience. Certified Nursing Assistant.  CPR Certification.


Position:  Transcriptionist (Part-time Temp) 

Description/Qualifications: To perform all transcription and clerical duties with regard to the preparation and processing of patient information and results.  Completes documentation and prepares statistics for projects and programs.  Files and stores all documentation related to these functions.   Medical secretarial experience required.  Typing 60 wpm with 90% accuracy, preferred.  Knowledge of medical terminology and dictation experience.  Some computer and Medical Imaging Department experience helpful.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.


Position:  CT Tech/ Radiographer (Part-time Temp) 

Description/Qualifications: To perform all types of radiological examinations of the human body in order to assist physicians and dentists in the detection of pathology, abnormal anatomy, fractures and/or disease.  To assist with the educational responsibilities and duties for the radiology students.  Must be ARRT registry eligible; must obtain ARRT registration within 6 months of hire date and maintain active registration.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.  Must be willing to pursue CT registry within one (1) year of orientation.  CPR Certification.


Position:  NFP Nurse Supervisor (Full-time) 

Description/Qualifications: Responsible for the supervision of the Nurse-Family Partnership program home visiting nurses and case management for the NFP program for first-time mothers and their families in Lawrence County.   Master's Degree in Nursing or Social Work or BSN with five (5) years work experience and two (2) years of home visiting experience.  Certification as a NHV and Nurse Supervisor by the NFP National Service Office.  Management and supervisory experience required:  Minimum of two (2) years.  Additional education/experience in patient education, risk assessment, case management.  Skills and experience in networking among agencies and all levels professionals.  Public speaking and training abilities.  Act 33/34 Clearances.  Ability to use a variety of Microsoft Office programs and to utilize ETO. Able to attend NFP supervisor and home visitor training in Denver, Co.




Position:  Registered Nurse-CCU (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications:Description/Qualifications: Recognizes the special needs of Patient/Significant Others in CCU.  Is knowledgeable about the emotional and rehabilitative aspects of the CCU patient and is capable of applying appropriate therapeutic interventions. Performs extensive physical assessments and competently administers routinely used and emergency drugs.  Answers CPR and Medical Response pages throughout the North Campus of the Hospital. PA RN License.  Must have at least one year of medical-surgical experience.  Must be ACLS certified within one year of being assigned to this area and maintain certification. Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. CPR Certification.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience.



Position:  Professional Nurse Educator  (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:Description/Qualifications: Participates in the total faculty effort to provide an educational program in nursing in line with the Philosophy, Goals, Directives, and Policies of the School of Nursing and the Hospital.  Strong commitment to Diploma education.  Current licensure as a professional registered nurse in the Commonwealth of PA.  Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.  Masters Degree in Nursingor must be willing to obtain within 5 years of employment.  Minimum of two years as a staff nurse.  Competence in major field of interest.  Teaching experience.  AHACPR certified.



Position:  CT Technologist (Full-time Afternoon Shift)

Description/Qualifications:Description/Qualifications: To perform all types of radiological examinations of the human body in order to assist physicians and dentists in the detection of pathology, abnormal anatomy, fractures and/or disease.  To assist with the educational responsibilities and duties for the radiology students Must be ARRT registry eligible; must obtain ARRT registration within 6 months of hire date and maintain active registration.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.  Must be willing to pursue CT registry within one (1) year of orientation.  AHA CPR certified.  Full time afternoon shift with occasional rotations through midnight shift.


Position:  Registered Nurse-OR (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications:Description/Qualifications: Registered nurse prescribes, delegates and coordinates the delivery of perioperative nursing care.  Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating daily intraoperative patient care and providing quality service to surgeons.  Participates in marketing operating room services to medical staff.  Maintains competent intraoperative skill level to ensure provision of safe quality patient care.  Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in Commonwealth of PA.  Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  At least one year Med/Surg experience preferred.  Must have operating room experience.  AHA CPR certification.



Position:  Occupational Therapist (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications:Description/Qualifications: The primary purpose is the delivery of quality occupational therapy services and programs in accordance with current professional, facility, local, state and Federal guidelines and regulations. Utilize the occupational therapy process to provide individualized patient/resident care for the prevention of complications of physical disability, the restoration of optimal function and/or adaptation to an altered lifestyle. Assist in supervision of personnel in the Occupational Therapy Department.  Advance awareness of occupational therapy through education of staff, students, employees and the community. Incorporates legal aspects of Occupational Therapy in accordance with professional standards.  Physically and emotionally capable of handling responsibilities. Has basic knowledge of roles of other heath professionals involved in the Rehabilitation program of the patient. The staff Occupational Therapist has the authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out assigned duties. Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. Valid Pennsylvania licensure required.  Prior experience as an occupational therapist is desirable.  AHA CPR certification.





Position:  Registered Nurse (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications: Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the delivery of nursing care. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing. Supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse. Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience. Require one year of medical-surgical experience, or per discretion of PCM or Nurse Executive. Previous experience in Maternal-Child preferred. Current neonatal resuscitation certification or ability to obtain certification required. Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. CPR Certification. Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience.



Position:  Coder (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Codes final diagnoses and procedures on inpatient  charts utilizing knowledge of ICD-9 and/or ICD-10 classification systems to arrive at an optimal DRG. Analyzes medical records to ensure completeness and accuracy of coded information for reimbursement purposes. Position requires degree in medical coding. CCS or the ability to work toward CCS certification. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology. Typing and/or key entry proficiency. Knowledge of clinical content of medical record. 3+ years of inpatient coding preferred. This position has the possibility of working remotely.




Position:  MHT II BH (Part-time Temporary)

Description/Qualifications:  Provides support for the patient’s therapeutic treatment plan.  Observes and records patient information pertinent to the treatment plan in the medical record and assisting in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services.  Responsible to schedule a minimum of 4 hours weekly and participate on the emergency assessment “on-call” team.  Participates in Utilization Review and the referral development process and adheres to the implementation of the weekend program schedule under the direction of the Activity Therapist. BS in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Health Sciences or related health care degree required.  Requires a minimum of 3 years psychiatric experience. CPR certification.


Position:  Registered Nurse BH (Full-time Temporary)

Description/Qualifications:  The RN assumes responsibility for daily unit operations and delegation of responsibilities to appropriate staff.  The RN is responsible for participation on the emergency “on-call” team and must schedule a minimum of one four hour “on-call” shift weekly. PA RN license required.  3 years experience in Psychiatric Nursing preferred. CPR Certification.   Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days.  This position is primarily for afternoon shifts, but days and shifts will vary.


Position:  Security Guard (Part-time temp) 

Description/Qualifications:  Physical fitness necessary to discharge assigned duties and responsibilities.  Ability to deal with persons of varying educational levels and Security guard continued backgrounds.  Ability to work with difficult situations.  Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and lift and push.  Communication skills to confer with Hospital staff and the public.  High school degree or equivalent preferred with good reading and writing skills. Prior security, police or military training preferred and/or Act 235 or 501 Certification preferred.  Provides evidence of NIMS 100 and 700 training or obtain within 3 months of hire.  Primarily evening shifts. 


Position:  Registered Nurse Cardiology (Per Diem) 

Description/Qualifications:  The Cardiology registered nurses have expertise in cardiovascular specialty areas.  Their role focuses on nursing care, supervising cardiac diagnostic testing.  PA RN License.   Minimum of two(2) years experience for basic evaluation of EKG patterns and rhythms in Critical Care Unit or Cardiac Stepdown Unit.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.  Must be ACLS Certified within one(1) year of being assigned to this area and maintain certification.  American Heart Association CPR Certification.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience


Position:  Environmental Services Aide  (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  To clean and service an assigned area according to procedure or special direction for all areas of the Health System as assigned.  High school degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to speak English and to follow oral and written direction.  Knowledge of Environmental Services equipment is helpful.  Experience in cleaning in a health care setting is helpful.  On-the-job training is provided.

Description/Qualifications:  Assist in delivery of direct resident care activities and services under the direct supervision of professional staff and in accordance with facility, local, state and Federal guidelines, standards and regulations.High school degree or equivalent required.  Takes and successfully completes the C.N.A. certification class.  Passes the C.N.A. certification test.Has a current valid certification to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.Certification in Basic Life Support.
