Position: Nutrional Services Aide (Part-time)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: As scheduled, performs routine kitchen and dishroom assignments related to preparation, portioning and serving of food and nourishments to patients, staff and quests. Passes and collects trays, sets up and delivers late trays.  Stocks units according to par levels.  High School graduate or equivalent preferred.  Vocational Technical School training desirable.  Ability to work within a time schedule.  Ability to read, write and speak English and follow oral and written instructions.  Ability to add, subtract, multiple, divide.


Position: Therapeutic Recreation Aide-JCC (Part-time Temporary) 

Description/Qualifications: The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Activities Director in all aspects of the activities program and in accordance with current facility, local, state and Federal guidelines and regulations. High school degree or equivalent. At least one year experience in leadership with groups, through volunteering, schooling, etc. Desire and ability to work with geriatric patients. Needs leadership skills, creativity, patient and ability to work independently. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships with residents, families and facility staff.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. AHA CPR certification. Long Term Care experience a plus.

Position: Family Development Specialist (Full-time) 

Description/Qualifications: Early Head Start is a home visitation program for Lawrence County families with children 0-3 years of age.  The Family Development Specialist works with a variety of families and issues, including but not limited to teen parents, drug/alcohol, mental health and grandparents raising kids.  The Family Development Specialist will carry a caseload of 10-12 families and will be responsible to: Provide home visits - weekly to families for 90 minutes. Provide and facilitate. Socialization groups on a regular basis. Maintain confidentiality of families; and provide transportation (minimally) for clients. Complete all paperwork associated with the EHS program and any other reports asked for by the supervisor. Enter data into the Child Plus data collection system. Participate in weekly individual supervision and case management. Obtain certification in the Parents As Teachers Foundational Training and maintain certification requirements. (Training provided by CAC at no cost to employee.)Bachelor or 4-year degree in early education or related field is preferred. Additional education/experience in early childhood education, child development, home visiting and at-risk families. Ability to network among agencies and professionals. Certification in Parents As Teachers program (training provided by agency). Cultural Awareness. Comfort working a variety of homes. The FDS must be capable of speaking, writing and reading in English and must be able to communicate with people at all levels.  The FDS must be able to work independently, travel from site-to-site, and remain accountable for hours worked.


Position: Medical Technologist (64-Flex)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: To perform assigned laboratory testing in Coagulation, Hematology, Urinalysis, Chemistry, Microbiology, Serology, Blood Bank, all other departments in the Lab; and to perform other associated duties.MLT (ASCP or HEW) preferred or AMT-MT certification preferred, but new graduates considered. AHACPR certification.


Position: MHT II (Full-time)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: Provides support for the patient’s therapeutic treatment plan.  Observes and records patient information pertinent to the treatment plan in the medical record and assisting in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services.  Responsible to schedule a minimum of 4 hours weekly and participate on the emergency assessment “on-call” team.  Participates in Utilization Review and the referral development process and adheres to the implementation of the weekend program schedule under the direction of the Activity Therapist. BS in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Health Sciences or related health care degree required.  3 years psychiatric experience preferred. Experience with group facilitation, documentation, assessment, and evaluation preferred. CPR and CPI certification. Must participate on ER on-call rotation, 4hours a week minimum. Valid PA Driver’s License.


Position: Professional Nurse Educator (Full-time, Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications: Participates in the total faculty effort to provide an educational program in nursing in line with the Philosophy, Goals, Directives, and Policies of the School of Nursing and the Hospital.  Strong commitment to Diploma education.  Current licensure as a professional registered nurse in the Commonwealth of PA.  Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.  Masters Degree in Nursingor must be willing to obtain within 5 years of employment.  Minimum of two years as a staff nurse.  Competence in major field of interest.  Teaching experience.  AHACPR certified.


Position: Respiratory Therapist (64-Flex)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: Perform all therapeutic and diagnostic procedures offered by Respiratory Care as approved by the medical director and Department Director.  Monitors and evaluates appropriateness of patient care procedures.  Performs quality controls, cleaning, stocking and record keeping procedures. Graduate of an approved AMA program for respiratory care who meets all current legal requirements of credentialing and who holds a valid and current credential issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine.  AHA CPR Certification.



Position: Nutritional Services Aide-JCC (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications: The primary purpose of this position is responsible for preparation and servicing of all foods for Jameson Care Center Nursing Facility and Assisted Living Facility in accordance with the Standards of Dietary Service as set forth by the Jameson Care Center Administration, State and Federal regulations, Dietary Manager, and consulting dietitian. High school degree or equivalent preferred.  Experience in food service desirable, but not required.  Job training provided.


Position: Admission Registered Nurse (Part-time Casual) 

Description/Qualifications: The primary function of the Admission RN will be to cover the needs of the new patient on the medical/surgical and telemetry units. The admission process may begin on the inpatient unit in the Emergency Department or on the admission unit (4SE). The Admission Nurse will not routinely cover areas such as TCU or Rehab nor areas such as CCU or MCC. This position reports to the PCM of 2NE. The Admission Nurse maintains good communication with the administrative supervisor and the unit charge nurses regarding activities. The Admission Nurse communicates well with all staff or physicians who participate in the care of the newly admitted patient.Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. AHA CPR certification. Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience. Varies days/afternoons and rotates weekends.


Position: Nursing Assistant (Part-time Causual) 

Description/Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent required.  Require past experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care or nursing home setting and/or completion of a Vo-Tech Nursing Assistant Program. Prefer Nursing Assistant Certification. AHA CPR Certification.  Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days.


Position: Escort (Part-time Temp)  *This position is only open to internal candidates

Description/Qualifications: Assists in the delivery of patient care primarily by transporting patients during admission, discharge, and transfer to and from other departments as necessary.  Assists with other patient activities by delivery specimens and running errands.  HS Diploma or equiv. preferred; prefer previous experience in patient care areas; must be able to read and write. AHACPR certification.


Position:  Registered Nurse-2NW (64-Flex) 

Description/Qualifications: The Registered Nurse prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the delivery of nursing care.  The R.N. is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse.  PA RN License, CPR Certification. Prefer one year of Orthopedic experience and medical/surgical background.


Position:  Registered Nurse-2W (64 Flex) 

Description/Qualifications: Responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse.   PA RN License.  Demonstratedknowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. AHA CPR certification.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience.


Position:  Mammographer/Radiographer (Full-time) 

Description/Qualifications: To perform all types of radiological examinations of the human body in order to assist physicians and dentists in the detection of fractures and/or disease.  To assist with the educational responsibilities and duties for the radiology students.  Must be ARRT registry eligible; must obtain ARRT registration within 6 months of hire date and maintain active registration.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six (6) months.  AHACPR certification.


Position:  Registered Nurse-2SE (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications: Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the delivery of nursing care.  Responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  Supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse.  Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. AHA CPR certification. Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience.


Position:  Registered Nurse-2NE (64-Flex, Part-time, Per-diem) 

Description/Qualifications: The R.N. is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse. PA RN License.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience. CPR Certification.   Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days.


Position:  Registered Nurse-TCU (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications: Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the delivery of nursing care.  Responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  Supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse. Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. AHACPR certification.


Position:  Registered Nurse-JCC (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications: The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate total nursing function for a designated unit including assessing, planning, prescribing nursing care, implementing and evaluation patient/resident care for a specified shift.  Coordinates related services and assists other health care staff in the delivery of treatment and services.  Directs, delegates, guides and supervises all staff on the unit to ensure quality care.  Performs job in accordance with facility, local, state and Federal guidelines, standards and regulations.  Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.  Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.  Long term care preferred.  Night shift.


Position:  Registered Nurse-Rehab (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications: Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the delivery of nursing care.  The R.N. is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital, Hospitalwide Nursing and the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse.Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Prefer Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. AHA CPRCertification.Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience.


Position:  Laundry Helper (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications: To assist in the laundry on assignments such as shaking out, folding and making deliveries to our customers. High school degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English and to follow oral and written directions.  Experience in laundry in the health care setting is helpful.  On the job training is provided. Must be able to perform basic math skills.


Position:  Licensed Practical Nurse -Transisitional Care (64-Flex) 

Description/Qualifications: The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the supervision of a professional nurse, is responsible for administering individualized nursing care to a group of patients.   Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nurses.  Has current Pennsylvania state licensure.  Demonstrates knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Prefer NAPNES Certification.   Must have current skills with information systems or be willing to obtain within six months. AHACPR Certification.


Position:  Pulmonary Tech (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications: The Pulmonary Technician supports the Respiratory Therapists and department through performance of tasks relating to oxygen rounds, delivery, billing, limited documentation and quality control.  Performs quality controls, cleaning, stocking and record keeping procedures.  High School degree or equivalent required.  Demonstrates knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Minimum 1 year experience. Certified Nursing Assistant.  CPR Certification.


Position:  Registered Nurse-OR (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications:Description/Qualifications: Registered nurse prescribes, delegates and coordinates the delivery of perioperative nursing care.  Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating daily intraoperative patient care and providing quality service to surgeons.  Participates in marketing operating room services to medical staff.  Maintains competent intraoperative skill level to ensure provision of safe quality patient care.  Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in Commonwealth of PA.  Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  At least one year Med/Surg experience preferred.  Must have operating room experience.  AHA CPR certification.


Position:  MHT II BH (Part-time Temporary)

Position:  Registered Nurse BH (Full-time Temporary)

Description/Qualifications:  The RN assumes responsibility for daily unit operations and delegation of responsibilities to appropriate staff.  The RN is responsible for participation on the emergency “on-call” team and must schedule a minimum of one four hour “on-call” shift weekly. PA RN license required.  3 years experience in Psychiatric Nursing preferred. CPR Certification.   Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days.  This position is primarily for afternoon shifts, but days and shifts will vary.


Position:  Registered Nurse Cardiology (Per Diem) 

Description/Qualifications:  The Cardiology registered nurses have expertise in cardiovascular specialty areas.  Their role focuses on nursing care, supervising cardiac diagnostic testing.  PA RN License.   Minimum of two(2) years experience for basic evaluation of EKG patterns and rhythms in Critical Care Unit or Cardiac Stepdown Unit.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.  Must be ACLS Certified within one(1) year of being assigned to this area and maintain certification.  American Heart Association CPR Certification.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience


Position:  Environmental Services Aide  (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  To clean and service an assigned area according to procedure or special direction for all areas of the Health System as assigned.  High school degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to speak English and to follow oral and written direction.  Knowledge of Environmental Services equipment is helpful.  Experience in cleaning in a health care setting is helpful.  On-the-job training is provided.

Position:  Certified Nursing Assistant (Full-time) Jameson Care Center

Description/Qualifications:  Assist in delivery of direct resident care activities and services under the direct supervision of professional staff and in accordance with facility, local, state and Federal guidelines, standards and regulations.High school degree or equivalent required.  Takes and successfully completes the C.N.A. certification class.  Passes the C.N.A. certification test.Has a current valid certification to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.Certification in Basic Life Support. 


Position:  Nursing Assistant (Full-time/ Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services. Provides necessary in care for the personal needs and comfort of patients, in line with hospital and department and department policies/procedures and standards, under the supervision of a staff nursing and/or a nursing management person.  High school degree or equivalent required. Require past experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care or nursing home setting and/or completion of a Vocational-Technical Nursing Assistant Program. Must successfully pass basic math computation test with 90% accuracy. Prefer Nursing Assistant Certification.  Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.
