Under the direct supervision of staff Pharmacists, the Pharmacy Technician has primary responsibility in the unit dose, and floor stock areas.  According to standard procedures, Pharmacy Technicians assist the staff Pharmacist in dispensing medications and maintaining appropriate patient records and charges. Performs other duties as required and/or assigned. Pharmacy Technicians should be high school graduates or have completed a high school equivalence course.  Preference will be given to applicants with health care experience and particularly to applicants with hospital pharmacy experience.  Pharmacy Technicians must be able to demonstrate efficient computer word processing skills.  Must have a knowledge of inpatient drug distribution systems, must be able to work mathematical calculations accurately, and have interpretive skills in reading and processing of medication orders for pharmacist checking. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification is preferred.

Position: Scheduler (Full-time)  *Open to Internal Candidates Only

Description/Qualifications Schedules and registers patients into the system efficiently and accurately maintaining a professional manner. High school degree or equivalent with commercial courses. Must have experience in bookkeeping, medical terminology, and good typing/computer skills. Good working knowledge of hospital registration and/or scheduling. High level quality personal interactive skills and positive attitude.


Position: Registered Nurse-ED (64-Flex)  *Open to Internal Candidates Only

Description/Qualifications Prescribes, delegates and coordinates the delivery of nursing care. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital, Cardiac-Ambulatory Care Services, and as outlined in the Hospital Plan for Nursing. Supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Pennsylvania licensure. A minimum of one (1) year experience in Medical/Surgical nursing or equivalent with special skill in starting IVs.Must be versatile, self-assured and technically competent.  Demonstrates knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience. Must possess the ability to communicate with patients and other members of the health care team. Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six (6) months. Position: Clinical Dietitian (Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications Provides nutrition care appropriate to the age of the patient.  Assesses patients at nutrition risk and may re-assess and provide nutrition instruction/educational materials as appropriate.  Provides group education programs for outpatients and the community, which are appropriate for the age and nutrition needs of the target audience.  Serves as a resource person to medical and ancillary health care staff. Baccalaureate degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.  Registered Dietitian, or eligible to take dietetic registration exam.  Must be licensed in Pennsylvania or has applied for license. Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain them within six months.  Possess a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.


Position: Registered Nurse-BHS (64 Flex, Part-time Temp)

Description/Qualifications:Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the delivery of nursing care. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital, Department of Nursing, and the Behavioral Health Unit. Supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse. Additionally, he/she has a working knowledge of psychiatric medications and monitors medication management. Assumes responsibility for daily unit operations and delegation of responsibilities to appropriate staff. The RN is responsible for participation on the emergency “on-call” team and must schedule a minimum of one four hour “on-call” shift weekly. Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Demonstrates knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. A minimum of 3 years experience in Psychiatric Nursing preferred. AHA CPR certification. Possesses CPI certification and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.



Position: Medical Lab Tech (64-Flex) 

Description/Qualifications: To perform assigned laboratory testing in Coagulation, Hematology, Urinalysis, Chemistry, Microbiology, Serology, Blood Bank, all other departments in the Lab; and to perform other associated duties. ASCP registered MLT, or AMT-MT degree, or HEW certification.  AHACPR certification.


Position: Transcriptionist (Full-Time)

Description/Qualifications: To perform all transcription and clerical duties with regard to the preparation and processing of patient information and results. Completes documentation and prepares statistics for projects and programs. Files and stores all documentation related to these functions.Medical secretarial experience required. Typing 60 wpm with 90% accuracy, preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and dictation experience. Description/Qualifications: Recognizes the special needs of Patient/Significant Others in CCU.  Is knowledgeable about the emotional and rehabilitative aspects of the CCU patient and is capable of applying appropriate therapeutic interventions. Performs extensive physical assessments and competently administers routinely used and emergency drugs.  Answers CPR and Medical Response pages throughout the North Campus of the Hospital.Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Must have at least one year of medical-surgical experience. Position: Certified Nursing Assistant-TCU (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications: Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services. Provides necessary care for the personal needs and comfort of patients, in line with hospital and department and department policies/procedures and standards, under the supervision of a staff nurse and/or a nursing management person. High school degree or equivalent required.  Require past experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care or nursing home setting and/or completion of a Vocational-Technical NursingAssistant Program.  Must successfully pass basic math computation test with 90% accuracy.  Nursing Assistant Certification required. Position: Histotechnologist (Part-time Temp)

Description/Qualifications: To receive, catalog, and process tissue block as prepared by the pathologists from surgical autopsy, cytologic (cell block), and bone marrow. ASCP registered. AHA CPR certification.


Position: Bookkeeper (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications: Registers patients into the computer system efficiently and accurately in a friendly, timely manner.HS grad. with additional bus courses.  Prior healthcare exp. in a medical office or hospital setting, knowledge of medical insurance, and medical terminology preferred, typing and customer service skills.  Shifts and days vary.



Position: Nutritional Services Aide (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Vocational Technical School training desirable. Ability to work within a time schedule.  Ability to read, write and speak English and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiple, divide.


Position: Cytology Tech (64-Flex)

Description/Qualifications:  To receive, catalog, and process specimens from genital and extra-genital sources and screen Pap smears for the presence or absence of malignant cells and non-malignant processes such as radiation and inflammatory changes. Cytotechnologist, ASCP registered and eligible. AHACPR certification.



Position: Payroll Coordinator (Full-time)

Description/Qualifications: Prepares hospital payroll on a biweekly basis. Performs all other reporting as needed. Maintains Kronos system. Performs various other assigned duties. High School Graduate. Must have at least 2 years of Kronos/Payroll experience, and strong Excel skills. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have outstanding inter­personal skills, organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to get along with others.



Position: Licensed Practical Nurse-Hospice (Part-time)  

Description/Qualifications: The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the supervision of a professional nurse, is responsible for administrating individualized nursing care in a client's environment as directed. Performs in line with the philosophy, objectives, and directives of the Jameson Hospital and Hospice.Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nurses; Current licensure in Pennsylvania; Successful completion of the Napnes Pharmacology exam for Practical Nurses of employment of graduation from an NLN accredited program, which included pharmacology content; Prefer one (1) year experience as an LPN in a health care setting; Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience; Valid driver's license; and auto liability insurance. Position: Environmental Support Aide (Part-time)  

Description/Qualifications: Perform the day-to-day activities of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with current Federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. To assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable, attractive manner. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.  Prefer two (2) years previous experience in a Long Term Care facility, preferably in Environmental Services. Prefer knowledge of machines and equipment utilized in Environmental Services. Must demonstrate ability to follow oral or written directions accurately.  Demonstrates competency in basic math calculation. Must be willing to cross-orient to any and all Environment Services functions



Position: Radiographer/CT (Part-time, Part-timeTemp) 

Description/Qualifications: To perform all types of radiological examinations of the human body in order to assist physicians and dentists in the detection of pathology, abnormal anatomy, fractures and/or disease.  To assist with the educational responsibilities and duties for the radiology students. Must be ARRT CT registered or registry eligible; and must obtain ARRT CT registry within 6 months of hire date and maintain active registration.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.  AHACPR certification.

Position: Phlebotomist- (Part- time) 

Description/Qualifications: Applicant shall possess a high school degree or equivalent. Phlebotomy course/certificate and experience in a hospital clinical laboratory is most desirable. Additional college level education in the Laboratory Science field is also desirable. AHA CPR Certification.


Position: Registered Nurse 2NW- (Full-time)

Position: MHT II (Part-time)  

Description/Qualifications: Provides support for the patient’s therapeutic treatment plan.  Observes and records patient information pertinent to the treatment plan in the medical record and assisting in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services.  Responsible to schedule a minimum of 4 hours weekly and participate on the emergency assessment “on-call” team.  Participates in Utilization Review and the referral development process and adheres to the implementation of the weekend program schedule under the direction of the Activity Therapist. BS in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Health Sciences or related health care degree required.  3 years psychiatric experience preferred. Experience with group facilitation, documentation, assessment, and evaluation preferred. CPR and CPI certification. Must participate on ER on-call rotation, 4hours a week minimum. Valid PA Driver’s License.


Position: Professional Nurse Educator (Full-time, Part-time) 

Description/Qualifications: Participates in the total faculty effort to provide an educational program in nursing in line with the Philosophy, Goals, Directives, and Policies of the School of Nursing and the Hospital.  Strong commitment to Diploma education.  Current licensure as a professional registered nurse in the Commonwealth of PA.  Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.  Masters Degree in Nursingor must be willing to obtain within 5 years of employment.  Minimum of two years as a staff nurse.  Competence in major field of interest.  Teaching experience.  AHACPR certified.


Position: Admission Registered Nurse (Part-time Casual) 

Description/Qualifications: The primary function of the Admission RN will be to cover the needs of the new patient on the medical/surgical and telemetry units. The admission process may begin on the inpatient unit in the Emergency Department or on the admission unit (4SE). The Admission Nurse will not routinely cover areas such as TCU or Rehab nor areas such as CCU or MCC. This position reports to the PCM of 2NE. The Admission Nurse maintains good communication with the administrative supervisor and the unit charge nurses regarding activities. The Admission Nurse communicates well with all staff or physicians who participate in the care of the newly admitted patient.Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months. Position: Escort (Part-time Temp) 

Description/Qualifications: Assists in the delivery of patient care primarily by transporting patients during admission, discharge, and transfer to and from other departments as necessary.  Assists with other patient activities by delivery specimens and running errands.  HS Diploma or equiv. preferred; prefer previous experience in patient care areas; must be able to read and write. AHACPR certification.

Position:  Licensed Practical Nurse -Transisitional Care (64-Flex) 

Description/Qualifications: The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the supervision of a professional nurse, is responsible for administering individualized nursing care to a group of patients.   Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nurses.  Has current Pennsylvania state licensure.  Demonstrates knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  Prefer NAPNES Certification.   Must have current skills with information systems or be willing to obtain within six months. AHACPR Certification.


Position:  Registered Nurse-OR (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:Description/Qualifications: Registered nurse prescribes, delegates and coordinates the delivery of perioperative nursing care.  Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating daily intraoperative patient care and providing quality service to surgeons.  Participates in marketing operating room services to medical staff.  Maintains competent intraoperative skill level to ensure provision of safe quality patient care.  Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in Commonwealth of PA.  Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  At least one year Med/Surg experience preferred.  Must have operating room experience.  AHA CPR certification.




Position:  Registered Nurse Cardiology (Per Diem) 

Description/Qualifications:  The Cardiology registered nurses have expertise in cardiovascular specialty areas.  Their role focuses on nursing care, supervising cardiac diagnostic testing.  PA RN License.   Minimum of two(2) years experience for basic evaluation of EKG patterns and rhythms in Critical Care Unit or Cardiac Stepdown Unit.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.  Must be ACLS Certified within one(1) year of being assigned to this area and maintain certification.  American Heart Association CPR Certification.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience


Position:  Environmental Services Aide  (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  To clean and service an assigned area according to procedure or special direction for all areas of the Health System as assigned.  High school degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to speak English and to follow oral and written direction.  Knowledge of Environmental Services equipment is helpful.  Experience in cleaning in a health care setting is helpful.  On-the-job training is provided.
