Position:  Registered Nurse/Office Manager Jameson Medical Care (64-flex)

Description/Qualifications:  Responsible for the clinical and clerical operation and overall office activities of the Physician office.  Directly supervises all office personnel.  PA RN License and one year of office or clinical experience preferably in the Orthopedic setting required.  M-F 8:00-4:30 

Position:  Unit Secretary Emergency Department (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Performs secretarial, receptionist duties, coordinating all activities and serves as the focal communication source for the nursing unit.   HS Diploma or equivalent required.  Approved Medical secretary course preferred.  At least one year if experience in a hospital setting preferred.  Medical Terminology proficiency required.  Computer/typing skills preferred.  Possess good verbal/phone communication skills.  Demonstrates ability to organize work in previous job situations.  Must have current skills with the information system or be willing to obtain within six months.  CPR Certification. 

Position:  Pharmacy Tech I (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Primary responsibility in the unit dose, and floor stock areas.  Assist the staff Pharmacist in dispensing medications and maintaining appropriate patient records and charges. HS Diploma required, prefer experience and PTCB.  Knowledge of inpatient drug distribution systems, ability to work mathematical calculations accurately, and have interpretive skills in reading and processing of medication orders for pharmacist checking. This position requires the ability to work all shifts and every other weekend.

Position:  Receptionist (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Responsible for the safety and welfare of occupants in the School of Nursing Building.  Serves as a center of communication, responsible for clerical duties, keeps informed of all activities in the School of Nursing Building, Hospital, and Community.   High school degree or equivalent required. Pleasing voice and outgoing personality.  Experience with groups, especially young people.  Clerical, computer, typing, and filing skills (mandatory).

Position:  Library Technician (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  To perform general office work as it relates primarily to the library requirements and overall operation of the School of Nursing.   High school degree or equivalent required.  Course work in computer science or word processing preferred.  Competency in typing, filing and maintaining accurate records.  A minimum of one year experience as a library technician.  Prior experience with computers required.  Demonstrates a sincere desire to help people.  Capable of establishing effective work relationships with co-workers, students and library patrons.  Shows initiative and the ability to be flexible.  Assumes the responsibility of the position.

Position:  Environmental Services Aide  (Part-time)

Description/Qualfications:  To clean and service an assigned area according to procedure or special direction for all areas of the Health System as assigned.  High school degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to speak English and to follow oral and written direction.  Knowledge of Environmental Services equipment is helpful.  Experience in cleaning in a health care setting is helpful.  On-the-job training is provided.

PositionLPN Jameson Care Center (Part-time temp)

Description/Qualifications:  Coordinate total nursing function for a designated unit including assessing, planning, prescribing nursing care, implementing and evaluation patient/resident care for a specified shift.  Coordinates related services and assists other health care staff in the delivery of treatment and services.  Directs, delegates, guides and supervises all staff on the unit to ensure quality care.  Performs job in accordance with facility, local, state and Federal guidelines, standards and regulations.   Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.  PA LPN License.

Position:  Family Advocate  (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:HS Diploma required Cultural awareness.  Comfort working with a variety of children and families.  The Family Advocate must be able to communicate with people on all levels. Must be able to work independently, have good communication skills, and be accountable for hours worked. 

Position:  Aide Nutritional (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  As scheduled, performs routine kitchen and dishroom assignments related to preparation, portioning and serving of food and nourishment to patients, staff and quests. Passes and collects trays, sets up and delivers late trays. Stocks units according to par levels.   HS Diploma or equivalent and food experience preferred.  Vocational Technical School training desirable. 

Position:  LPN Hospice (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Responsible for administrating individualized nursing care in a client's environment as directed.  Performs in line with the philosophy, objectives, and directives of the Jameson Hospital and Hospice. PA LPN license,successful completion of the Napnes Pharmacology exam for Practical Nurses of employment of graduation from an NLN accredited program, which included pharmacology content; Prefer one (1) year experience as an LPN in a health care setting;.  Valid driver's license; and auto liability insurance.  Previous venotech experience and Invision computer experience.  Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire.   Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days. 

Position:  Certified Nurse Practitioner (Full-time) JMC

Description/Qualifications:  The CRNP will work in collaboration with OB/GYN physicians in both our clinic and office settings.  Qualifications for the position are as follows:  PA CRNP License, BSN required, MSN preferred.  Five years experience in nursing, with at least three years in an OB/GYN setting and at least one year in management.  Ideal applicant will also have a demonstrated leadership ability; ability to work in stressful situations and possess good oral and written communication skills. 

Position:  Registered Nurse Med/Surg (64-flex)

Description/ Qualifications:  The R.N. is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse. PA RN License.  Prefer current or recent (within 3 years) acute care or comparable experience. CPR Certification.  Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days.

Position:  Home Health Aide (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  Responsible for carrying out assigned tasks in the patient's place of residence, reporting changes in the patient's condition to the R.N. or Hospice Coordinator. Maintains responsibility.  HS diploma or equivalent required. Prefer past experience as a nursing assistant and experience in the home setting; Must have sincere interest in the ill and elderly, cheerful personality and interest in patient's achieving self-reliance; Must satisfactorily complete Hospice Aide training course as part of job orientation; Is required to have valid driver's license; own car; automobile insurance.  CPR Certification

Position:  Certified Nursing Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) Jameson Care Center

Description/Qualifications:  Assist in delivery of direct resident care activities and services under the direct supervision of professional staff and in accordance with facility, local, state and Federal guidelines, standards and regulations.High school degree or equivalent required.  Takes and successfully completes the C.N.A. certification class.  Passes the C.N.A. certification test.Has a current valid certification to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.Certification in Basic Life Support. 

Position:  Emergency Department Technician II (Part-time)

Qualifications/Description:  Performs various patient care activities as well as specific procedures and related services necessary in caring for the patients.  Performs clerical and patient care supportive duties in the ED, assists clinicians by performing designated procedures and/or transporting patients to other departments within the facility.  Performs secretarial and receptionist duties in the ED.  HS Diploma or equivalent, BLS certification required proof of current ACLS course completed. Previous experience in an acute care and/or Emergency Services preferred.  Possesses phlebotomy skills and intravenous access preferred.  Demonstrates ability to organize work in previous job situations.  Hospital conducted on-the-job training.  Medical Terminology proficiency required.  CPR Certification.

Position:  Nursing Assistant (Full-time/ Part-time/Part-time Casual)

Description/Qualifications:  Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various patient care activities and related services. Provides necessary in care for the personal needs and comfort of patients, in line with hospital and department and department policies/procedures and standards, under the supervision of a staff nursing and/or a nursing management person.  High school degree or equivalent required. Require past experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care or nursing home setting and/or completion of a Vocational-Technical Nursing Assistant Program. Must successfully pass basic math computation test with 90% accuracy. Prefer Nursing Assistant Certification.  Possesses a current CPR card designating completion of an American Heart Association course and/or receives initial training within six weeks of hire. Position requires the flexibility to work all shifts and days.
