Position: Emergency Department Tech II  (Part-time )

Position: Medical Social Worker  (Full-time)

Description/QualificationsThe purpose of the social worker is to provide necessary social work services in order to meet the psychosocial, as well as medical needs of all patients in the Jameson Health System.  This is accomplished through problem identification and assessment of the psychological, social, environmental and financial impact of illness on patients, families and significant others.  The social worker will ensure timely and efficient identification of patients who require discharge planning, provide psychosocial counseling, coordinate the contribution of the interdisciplinary health care team in the individualized discharge plan, and maintain liaisons with local, state and Federal resources.  The social worker will provide empathy and understanding when working with the patients and their families. Description/Qualifications Responsible for carrying out assigned tasks in the patient's place of residence for which he/she has been trained. Responsible for reporting changes in the patient's condition to the R.N. or Hospice Coordinator. Description/Qualifications: To perform all transcription and clerical duties with regard to the preparation and processing of patient information and results. Completes documentation and prepares statistics for projects and programs. Files and stores all documentation related to these functions.Medical secretarial experience required. Typing 60 wpm with 90% accuracy, preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and dictation experience. Some computer and Medical Imaging Department experience helpful.  Must have current skills with the Information System or be willing to obtain within six(6) months.


Position: Registered Nurse-CCU (64-Flex)  

Description/Qualifications: Recognizes the special needs of Patient/Significant Others in CCU.  Is knowledgeable about the emotional and rehabilitative aspects of the CCU patient and is capable of applying appropriate therapeutic interventions. Description/Qualifications:  To receive, catalog, and process specimens from genital and extra-genital sources and screen Pap smears for the presence or absence of malignant cells and non-malignant processes such as radiation and inflammatory changes. Cytotechnologist, ASCP registered and eligible. AHACPR certification.


Position: Licensed Practical Nurse-Hospice (Part-time)  

Description/Qualifications: The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the supervision of a professional nurse, is responsible for administrating individualized nursing care in a client's environment as directed. Position: Admission Registered Nurse (Part-time Casual) 

Description/Qualifications: The primary function of the Admission RN will be to cover the needs of the new patient on the medical/surgical and telemetry units. The admission process may begin on the inpatient unit in the Emergency Department or on the admission unit (4SE). The Admission Nurse will not routinely cover areas such as TCU or Rehab nor areas such as CCU or MCC. This position reports to the PCM of 2NE. The Admission Nurse maintains good communication with the administrative supervisor and the unit charge nurses regarding activities. Description/Qualifications: The R.N. is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in administering individualized patient care in line with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Hospital and Department of Nursing.  The R.N. supervises ancillary personnel and may be assigned to function as a charge nurse. Description/Qualifications: The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate total nursing function for a designated unit including assessing, planning, prescribing nursing care, implementing and evaluation patient/resident care for a specified shift.  Coordinates related services and assists other health care staff in the delivery of treatment and services.  Directs, delegates, guides and supervises all staff on the unit to ensure quality care.  Performs job in accordance with facility, local, state and Federal guidelines, standards and regulations.  Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.  Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.  Long term care preferred.  Night shift.


Position:  Registered Nurse-OR (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:Description/Qualifications: Registered nurse prescribes, delegates and coordinates the delivery of perioperative nursing care.  Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating daily intraoperative patient care and providing quality service to surgeons.  Participates in marketing operating room services to medical staff.  Maintains competent intraoperative skill level to ensure provision of safe quality patient care.  Licensure or current application for licensure as a professional nurse in Commonwealth of PA.  Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility through references from past education and/or job experience.  At least one year Med/Surg experience preferred.  Must have operating room experience.  AHA CPR certification.


Position:  Environmental Services Aide  (Part-time)

Description/Qualifications:  To clean and service an assigned area according to procedure or special direction for all areas of the Health System as assigned.  High school degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to speak English and to follow oral and written direction.  Knowledge of Environmental Services equipment is helpful.  Experience in cleaning in a health care setting is helpful.  On-the-job training is provided.


Position:  Certified Nursing Assistant (Full-time, Part-time) Jameson Care Center

Description/Qualifications:  Assist in delivery of direct resident care activities and services under the direct supervision of professional staff and in accordance with facility, local, state and Federal guidelines, standards and regulations.High school degree or equivalent required.  Takes and successfully completes the C.N.A. certification class.  Passes the C.N.A. certification test.Has a current valid certification to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.Certification in Basic Life Support.
