Jameson Place Personal Care Facility Offers Open House: August 20
Jameson Health System’s Jameson Place will host an Open House featuring tours of the personal care facility on Thursday, August 20, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Apartments, dining rooms and other living areas of the facility will be open for viewing. Suzy Boyer, LPCHA, manager, Jameson Place, will provide tours and visitors will have an opportunity to meet and greet caregiver teams, and sample the chef-inspired cuisine served daily to residents.

Inpatient Behavioral Health Services Extended through December 31, 2015
Following public announcement of the pending closure of inpatient Behavioral Health Services that was targeted to occur on August 7, 2015, Jameson staff has worked with our Lawrence County administration to develop a plan to extend operation of inpatient services at our South Campus through at least December 31 of this year. Jameson’s Executive Board of Directors approved this extension of inpatient behavioral health services through December 31, 2015.
School of Radiography Class of 2015 Achieves a 100 Percent First-Time Pass Rate for National Registry Exam
Jameson Health System is proud to announce that every radiography graduate of the class of 2015 has passed the national registry exam. This marks the ninth consecutive year that students have had a 100 percent first-time pass rate.
“My thanks to the students, faculty and medical imaging department for their contributions to the students’ success,” said David W. Hyser, M.S., R.T. (R), director of radiography and specialty programs.

Based on the pending loss of physician manpower, the Executive and Finance Committee of the Jameson Hospital Board of Directors approved notification to the state of the need to discontinue childbirth services at Jameson Hospital effective September 1, 2015.
